Recorded in her home in the neighboring city of Florence, AL, and produced by her husband, this collection of songs is a celebration of her origins."

Michael Nau & the Mighty Thread (Cotton Jones) / Harpooner

Michael Nau returns this year with an expanded full-band lineup now known as The Mighty Thread, comprised of musicians from all over America who have been a part of his touring and recording life over the past few years. “We've all played together in various arrangements over the past few years”, says Nau. "We made a record with this core group last year and did a west coast trip at the end of '17. It was fun and so we want to try and keep it going wherever we can. As such, we’re going to do a string of shows coming up wherein any show listed as "...& the mighty thread" will be full band shows comprised of Will Brown on keys, Benny Yurco on guitar, Graeme Gibson on drums, Robinson Morse & Evan ApRoberts on bass and hopefully get to release some music featuring these bandmates in the near future."

Of Harpooner, the The New York Times had this to say: "Forget earworm; This power pop group of lookers will throw their Harpoon into your primary auditory cortex where it will embed itself so that you are a follower for life. Punchy songs that are inspired by yet not derivative of Harry Nillson, drugged up on touches of psych with a Midwestern twist. The tunes progress conventionally but unpredictably due to frontman Scott Schmadeke's piano-rooted mind and affinity for the major seventh note. You will hear their unmistakably love for the Beatles and their offspring; Emmitt Rhodes and Badfinger. Harpooner's 2014 Speed 7" sounds like someone set the Brill Building on fire.”

Tickets are on sale $7 pre/$10 at the door. Doors open at 7PM.

The Pollies / The Underhill Family Orchestra

The Pollies & The Underhill Family Orchestra Live in Florence!

The Pollies:

“IN AN IDEAL WORLD, DISCOVERING A BAND LIKE THE POLLIES WOULDN’T BE THAT BIG OF A DEAL, BUT THEN AGAIN, IN AN IDEAL WORLD, EVERY BAND WOULD BE ABLE TO SEAMLESSLY BLEND AND ARRANGE THE ROOT ELEMENTS OF ROCK AND ROLL WHILE FORGING INTO NEW TERRITORY TO CREATE SONGS THAT SOUND SO NATURAL AND EFFORTLESS THAT YOU DON’T NOTICE THE INTRINSIC COMPLEXITY AND MASSIVE UNDERTAKING THAT EACH TRACK REPRESENTS.” - LAST.FM

"The alt-country band transcends the genre here, focusing on meandering-yet-careful lead vocals, soaring bgvs, twinkly lead guitar, and a reverb-laden sense of nostalgia. The arrangement is carefully layered and mixed to perfection–it feels effortless, even though there’s quite a bit going on."- Independent Clauses

The Underhill Family Orchestra:

The Underhill Family Orchestra, native to the Alabama delta, has been described as "outright anthemic" taking their compositions to "idyllic places" that make you want to "paint your face, forget your age, and kiss a stranger." With "the bare knuckled nature" of their sound and their command of the "intricate, melancholy and densely literate" themes in the songs they create, they invoke a "sense of riot" with their arm-swingin, foot-stomping, Appalachia-inspired sound that makes effort to "infuse sheer pop catchiness into the rootsier, grittier elements" made up of sultry and soulful 4-part vocal arrangements and a unique take on the southern sound for which Alabama is known. They have recently been in the studio after their October signing to Skate Mountain Records, and will be hitting the road this spring to promote their debut major record release set to drop in early 2018.

The Artisanals / Adam Faucett

The Artisanals return, and are joined by Adam Faucett Music!

Adam Faucett is an Arkansas mainstay, an export of Little Rock sent around the world on the legs of his powerful songcraft. The Arkansas Times says: “Somewhere between Otis Redding’s soul shout and Cat Power’s swampy poeticism... one of the greatest, most thoughtful lyricists the state has to offer. Certainly one of the most respected songsmiths around. Adam Faucett manages to get under your ribs effortlessly.” The The A.V. Club simply says: "His voice knocks your brain into the back of your skull."

The Artisanals return after their killer set here with Dylan LeBlanc on New Years Eve! Hailing from Charleston, SC, the cosmic rockers blend Americana and swirling spaced out tones to achieve liftoff, all under earworm melodies you'll be humming all weekend. Paste Magazinecompared them to Tom Petty and "the more fun aspects of Father John Misty and the War On Drugs."

About Caleb Elliott:

There are about 500 miles between Louisiana and The Shoals of Northwest Alabama. Singer and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Elliott knows them all well. They’re the highways and rural roads that led him from playing dollar margarita nights in Cajun country to touring the world as the cellist with acclaimed singer-songwriter Dylan LeBlanc. They’re the trail that connects him musically from Acadiana where roots run deep like the cedar trees to his hometown of Natchitoches to the fabled recording studios of Muscle Shoals. Now, they represent the journey of his latest solo record–a collection of songs that reaches back to his background as a classically trained cellist and forward to the sound he’s building with a new generation of Shoals musicians. Stepping out of the touring whirlwind with LeBlanc, Elliott started searching for his next move in between playing his regular haunts and joints across the border in Texas and Arkansas. With fellow Louisianans drummer Jeremy Gibson and guitarist Michael Stephens, he drove those 500 miles back to The Shoals to record with Ben Tanner as producer, violinist Kimi Samson, and Zac Cockrell (bassist of Alabama Shakes). The result: a sonic bridge filled with the tight grooves that made the Muscle Shoals Sound famous and a new-school swamp rock vibe that connects his two homes and his past with his present.

About Adron:

Adron is rapidly being recognized as one of the most uniquely gifted songwriters and vocalists of this generation. Named Best Songwriter of 2012 by the Atlanta-based arts and culture magazine Creative Loafing, she has managed to unite audiences from wildly far-flung backgrounds, age groups and subcultural scenes with her universally communicative and infectious music. In a style nearly impossible to describe using the terms of conventional genres, she playfully blends Brazilian samba, bossa nova and Tropicália with Classical harmony, the sincerity and thoughtfulness of singer-songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Harry Nilsson, and the full-bodied rhythms of 1970’s pop and r&b.

Cody Rogers Band / El Obo

Presented by the The Apollo Agency!

Cody Rogers, the former frontman of The Holy Ghost Electric Show, is releasing his first album, "My Heart Is The Most Lonesome Rodeo," in January of 2018. Of him, William Boyle writes: "Rogers’ voice sounds like something you’d hear booming from the stage of that place. Shivery, deep, weathered.” Cody Rogers has always been between those two places. The son of a pool hustler turned preacher he grew up in north Mississippi shaped by the duality of biblical fire sweltering like the southern summer and the heavenly moans that shaped the hill country with music and lone neon lights glowing in the blackness of the night..."

El Obo is the project of Colour Revolt's Jesse Coppenbarger.
